This record cotains the data-sets and scripts used in "Sequence
specificity in DNA binding is mainly governed by association" by
Marklund et al, 2021.

File list:
- data_pbm.zip -  Data-set for output generated using a protein binding 
                  microarray. 
                  Used to generate figures 2 and s1.

- data_tirf.zip - Data-set for output generated using TIRF based 
                  single molecule localisation microscopy. 
                  Used to generate figures 4 and s2.

- data_cas9.zip - Data-set for cas9 binding collected from literature. 
                  Used to generate figures s4 and s5.

- data_spr.zip  - Data-set for output generated using surface plasmon 
                  resonance based methods. 
                  Used to generate figure s3.

- figure_scripts.zip - Set of scripts used to generate all figures. 
                       See README file inside for details. 


To re-generate figures, download and unpack figure_script.zip and
data_XX.zip file(s) in the same folder. Follow the instructions in
figure_scripts/README. All scripts require MATLAB including a variety
of toolboxes. Note that scripts for Fig. 2 and S1 is known to *not*
function on older versions of MATLAB. It is known to work on version
2020b.
