This talk was presented at the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) Facilities Day 2024 in Hinxton, England on 29 November 2024. It was presented by Wolmar Nyberg Åkerström at National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS).
Description of the talk
The talk illustrated some opportunities and challenges in supporting submissions to ENA and across ELIXIR core data resources. The presentation used examples from data sharing and data brokering in human pathogen genomics to highlight features in ENA and caveats related to linking/entering from other databases, such as BioStudies and BioSamples. It also advertised activities in ELIXIR’s data platform to define and implement good practices for brokering/linking data for multi-omics (multi-modal) integration projects.
