Open Educational Resources: what, why, how?

<p dir="ltr">This presentation was prepared for and presented virtually at the SciLifeLab Data Management Seminar Series on 10 June 2025, during a session titled "<b>Global impact of sharing Open Educational Materials: Examples from Sweden and Africa</b>."</p><p dir="ltr">This presentation offers an introduction to the world of OER. It explores what OER is, how it differs from traditional educational material, and its close relationship with the principles of open science. It also provides practical guidance for educators and researchers on how to engage with OER —both as creators and as adopters—.
