<p>The Editorial - Surveillance of antimicrobial resistance – flying blind or flying behind? (https://www.pathogens.se/editorials/environmental_amr_surveillance/) was published on the Swedish Pathogens Portal on the 18th September 2024. This Editorial is a thought-piece on how environmental tracking of antimicrobial resistance should be done. It aims to provoke discussion between scientists and stakeholders, particularly in light of upcoming EU legislation.</p> <p>Editorials on the Swedish Pathogens Portals are short, opinion-style articles discussing current thinking in an area related to pandemic preparedness. Some editorials are be written in-house by the portal team, but most will be contributed by members of the Portal Editorial Committee, or external contributors.
