The National Guidelines for Open Science (Module 8 of OSitSC)

Module 8 in the course Open Science in the Swedish Context

This module provides an overview of Sweden’s coordinated approach to advancing Open Science. It explains the role of the National Library of Sweden in supporting Open Access and related initiatives, and outlines the purpose, structure, and ongoing review of the national guidelines. The module also presents the six key areas for the development of Open Science in Sweden—ranging from open publications and data to public engagement and supporting infrastructure—and clarifies the roles and responsibilities of different actors in implementing these guidelines.
