<p dir="ltr">This talk presented motivations for Open Science and the FAIR principles.</p><p dir="ltr">It was delivered during the course Introduction to Data Management Practices for National Genomics Infrastructure organised by NBIS Data Management team in May 2024.</p><p dir="ltr">The target audience is research infrastructure staff at a data producing sequencing facility.<br><br>The objective was that the audience at the end of the talk should be able to:</p><ul><li>Describe some reasons for the principles of Open Science and FAIR</li></ul><p></p>
